John Deere 650 and 750 Tractors Specifications
The John Deere 650 and 750 were Yanmar-built compact utility tractors produced from 1981 to 1989 as part of Deere's 50 Compact Series. The 650 ran a 2-cylinder diesel rated at 14.5 PTO horsepower, while the larger 750 used a 3-cylinder diesel rated at 18.0 PTO horsepower. Both shared a two-range, eight-speed gearbox, open-center hydraulics, and a transmission-driven 540-rpm PTO. The figures below are the factory observed PTO horsepower and service specifications as published in the operator's manual — note that these PTO ratings are lower than the gross engine horsepower (roughly 16–18 hp) quoted by some secondary sources.
