Allis-Chalmers Model D14 Tractor Specifications

About this model: The Allis-Chalmers D14 was produced from 1957 to 1960 as part of the D-Series lineup. It was powered by a 149 cubic inch four-cylinder gasoline engine governed at 1,650 RPM. The D14's standout feature was the Power Director — a hand-operated dual-range wet clutch system that allowed on-the-go range shifting without stopping or declutching. Combined with a constant-mesh four-speed transmission, this gave the D14 eight effective forward speeds. The specifications below are sourced directly from the factory operator's manual (TM-137 C) and cover all major systems.
