Kubota L175 Tractor Service Manual
This is the complete service manual for the Kubota L175 tractor — covering all four variants (L175F, L175T, L175PF, and L175PT) and delivered as an instant PDF download. All 90 pages are included, with detailed disassembly, assembly, adjustment, and troubleshooting procedures for every major system on the tractor, plus full specifications for the Kubota Z750-A diesel engine and the L175 chassis.
About the Kubota L175
The Kubota L175 is a compact utility tractor powered by the Kubota Z750-A — a 2-cylinder, vertical, water-cooled diesel engine displacing 45.3 cubic inches (743cc) and producing 17 horsepower at 2,800 RPM. With a 59-inch wheelbase and a base weight of just 1,430 lbs without ballast, the L175 was designed for small-acreage farming, landscaping, and grounds maintenance work where a full-size tractor would be overkill.
Kubota offered the L175 in four configurations. The L175F came with agricultural tires (4.00-12 front, 8.3/8-24 R1 rear) for field and farm use, while the L175T was fitted with turf tires (20×8.00-10 front, 13.6-16 R3 rear) for lawn and grounds work without tearing up turf. The L175PF and L175PT added a 3-point hitch to the farm and turf models respectively, enabling use with Category I implements. The hydraulic lift system could handle up to 1,325 lbs at the lower link tips.
The L175 uses an 8-forward, 2-reverse gear transmission, a dry single-plate clutch, bevel-gear differential, and internal-expanding mechanical brakes with independent left/right operation and an interlocking device. Steering is a ball-screw type with a 15:1 gear ratio, and the PTO runs at 597 or 1,185 RPM with the engine at 2,800 RPM through a SAE 1-3/8 inch shaft located at the rear of the transmission case.
What This Manual Covers

Why This Manual Matters
- True service-depth coverage — This is not an operators manual with basic maintenance tips. It provides shop-level disassembly sequences, internal parts identification, adjustment tolerances, and reassembly procedures for every major system on the tractor
- Complete hydraulic system service — Eight dedicated sections cover the hydraulic pump, control valve, and cylinder individually with testing procedures and troubleshooting flowcharts — critical for diagnosing lift problems and 3-point hitch issues on the L175PF and L175PT
- Engine rebuild data — Full Z750-A diesel specs including injection pump and nozzle part numbers (ND-PFR 2 M55/1 ND600 pump, ND-DN12SD12 nozzle), injection pressure settings (2,000–2,140 PSI), timing (25–26° BTDC), and valve/combustion chamber detail — essential information for rebuilding or troubleshooting fuel delivery problems
- Torque specifications and maintenance standards — Dedicated reference charts at the back of the manual list torque values for the entire tractor plus maintenance standards and wear tolerances for the Z750-A engine
- Covers all four L175 variants — Whether you have the L175F (farm tires), L175T (turf tires), L175PF (farm + 3-point hitch), or L175PT (turf + 3-point hitch), this manual covers your tractor
