Complete specifications for the Kubota B7100 compact tractor, transcribed from the specifications pages of two factory operator's manuals. Kubota sold the B7100 with two different drivetrains, and each has its own manual: the gear-drive B7100D (manual code 66704-6291-5, shared with the B5100 and B6100) and the hydrostatic B7100HST in four-wheel drive (HST-D) and two-wheel drive (HST-E) form (manual code 66204-6291-9, shared with the B6100HST). Both use Kubota's three-cylinder 762 cc diesel, rated at 16 HP at 2800 rpm. Kubota built the B7100 from 1976 to 1985.
The two versions are less alike than the shared name suggests. The HST has a wheelbase about 6 inches longer than the gear model, weighs 180 lbs. more in four-wheel drive, carries a different engine suffix (D750-AH against D750-A) and different oil capacities, and has a completely different PTO. The gear-drive B7100D has a three-speed rear PTO of 514, 876 and 1498 rpm, with no 540 setting, while the HST has a 540/850 rpm rear PTO plus a 2450 rpm mid PTO. Where the figures differ, the tables below give each version its own column.
