Specifications for the Ford 555C and 655C tractor loader backhoes, transcribed from Section E of the factory operator's manual. Both machines use a four-cylinder diesel sharing a 4.4 in. bore; the 655C gains its extra displacement from a longer 4.4 in. stroke against the 555C's 4.2 in. Everything else in this section — cooling, fuel, electrical, brakes, steering, rear axle, torque values and fluid capacities — is common to both models except where a column separates them.
