Complete specifications for the Massey Ferguson MF 1100 and MF 1130 tractors, transcribed from the specifications section of the factory operator's manual (Form No. 690 682 M7, dated 5M-8/71). Both tractors share the same 354 cu. in. six-cylinder diesel, dry-sleeve and overhead valve, at 16:1 compression, and were offered in Row Crop and Western body styles, each available with tricycle single-wheel, tricycle dual-wheel, or 4-wheel wide front axle configurations.

Drive runs through a 12 inch double dry-disc clutch to either a Dual Range transmission (6 forward, 2 reverse) or the Dual Range Multi-Power transmission, which uses a hydraulically actuated clutch pack and compounding gears for 12 forward and 4 reverse. Brakes are hydraulic power, wet disc type. The MF 1130 carries a larger fuel tank and a heavier shipping weight than the MF 1100; every other specification in this manual is common to both.

Dual Range Multi-Power Transmission Constant mesh helical primary reduction gears with spur-type change speed gears, primary reduction controlled by a hydraulically actuated clutch pack and a one-way overrunning type clutch. In conjunction with two sets of constant mesh helical compounding gears, provides 12 forward and 4 reverse speeds.
Final Drive Spiral bevel gear and pinion in combination with planetary type final reductions
